Join us at the Smoke on the Plains BBQ Festival for our Smokin' 5K race! The race will be on Saturday, June 13 at 7:30am. The course is a USATF certified course. It will start and finish in High Park, and will run through the city streets of Derby, Ks. There will be awards for the overall female and overall male, and 1st place age group awards, which are sponsored by Supplement Giant! Finisher medals will be given to everyone who crosses the finish line. Participants will also receive a race shirt! Must register by May 31 to guarantee a race shirt. The Smokin’ 5K is an event you won’t want to miss! So lace up your sneakers, grab your friends, and get ready to smoke the competition. NEW this year! The first 50 people who register will be entered into a raffle to win a fire pit! Pre-Race: Packet pick-up will be on Friday, June 12, 2026 at Derby Recreation Center (801 E.
