The 2026 RRRR Summer Fun Run Series takes place at various locations throughout Shreveport, Louisiana on June 4th. Red River Road Runners present the 2026 Summer Fun Run Series. PLEASE NOTE: We offer two different series options! Choose one during registration: Short Course: Runners will start with 1-mile and progress each week to the 5K finale. Long Course: Runners will run the 5K each Thursday Single Runs: Long course option only Date Location Short Course Distance Long Course Distance June 4 Stoner Boat Launch 1 mile 5K June 11 Ford Park 1.5 mile 3.5 miles June 18 Walker Place Park (Bossier) 1.5 mile 5K June 25 Southern Hills Park 2 miles 5K July 9 Querbes Park (New Course!) 2 miles 5K July 16 North Bossier Park (Brownlee) 2.5 miles 5K July 23 A.C. Steere Park 2.5 miles 5K July 30 Betty Virginia Park 5K Finale and Picnic 5K Finale and Picnic This is the 36th consecutive year for the Fun Run Series. The runs begin promptly at 6:45 p.m. and are open to all runners from those looking for a hard workout to those who just want an enjoyable run or stroll with fellow runners and walkers. A clock will be set up at each run. Your registration fee includes all eight races, t-shirt (to those registered by 5/21! ), freeze pops, watermelon, and a fun time with friends. Paid club members will receive a $20 discount at checkout. Maximum amount for family is $65 for the series. “Family” consist of all living in the same household. Policies: No changes can be made to short-course/long-course after registration No refunds if events are cancelled, but shirts will still be issued. Each year this series continues to grow and we hope that this year will be our best yet!
