A summit-driven grind up Wachusett Mountain where steady climbs, rocky pitches, and winding forest trails test your legs and reward your effort. The route traverses Wachusett’s ski slopes and wooded single-track, climbing through pine and hardwood forest before breaking onto exposed upper mountain terrain with sweeping views across Central Massachusetts and, on clear days, all the way to Boston’s skyline. Push your pace. Carry your weight. Move with the pack. Choose your distance: 7, 14, 21, or 28 miles, and complete in 10 hours to earn the coveted UltraTrax Grey Wolf Medal. Toss on a 10, 20, or 35-lb weighted vest or ruck and unlock bonus finisher swag + serious bragging rights. The course will be extremely well marked with a fun post-trek party for everyone to enjoy!
