Join us for beautiful fall colors at The Barn Run. Welcome to the start of something extraordinary. Special Needs Charity Inc. is excited to host the inaugural The Barn Run on Oct. 18, 2026. Our organization’s mission is to enrich and support the lives of individuals with intellectual disabilities. For our debut race, we are proud to dedicate event proceeds to the St. Louis Center in Chelsea, Michigan — a vibrant, intentional community that has provided residential care and unparalleled support for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities for decades. 5K and 2K Entry Fee: $30 until Sept. 30 (t-shirt guaranteed). $35 from Oct. 1-16 (t-shirt available as supplies last). $40 race day, online registration only, t-shirt not guaranteed. Ages 18 and under will receive a $10 discount off their entry fee, applied automatically during checkout. Want to Run for FREE?! Donate $100 and you'll receive a FREE entry! The discounted entry fee for donations of $75 is $25. Free entry is valid until Sept. 30; then it's a $30 discount off the entry fee with a $100 donation. Please note there are no awards for the 2k participants, finisher medals only. Course Info: Trail/road run, but mainly trail. Very scenic along the Red Cedar River. The 5k will start at 9:00 am. The 2k will start at 9:10 am. Packet Pickup: The day before the event (Saturday, Oct. 17) at the barn location (343 E Grand River Rd, Williamston, MI 48895) between 1-5 p.m., and the day of the race between 8-9 a.m. The race will be professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation . Results will be live and available after the race. If you'd like to support the St. Louis Center but do not want to run/walk, please join us for a visit at the Amish Built Barn. Cost is $30 per family and includes one t-shirt.
