The Missing Slice – Love, Hope & Pizza 5K Hosted by the Lenawee Endurance Club in partnership with Hungry Howie’s 📅 Saturday, October 25, 2025 | 🕗 8:30 AM Start | 📍 Adrian High School The Lenawee Endurance Club is proud to bring back The Missing Slice – Love, Hope & Pizza 5K for its second year! This annual event raises funds and awareness for breast cancer research, support, and early detection through the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Why “The Missing Slice”? The name is a nod to our mission: to help close the gap in resources needed to end breast cancer—and a shout-out to our title sponsor, Hungry Howie’s, who will be serving up free post-race pizza for all participants! This event is personal to so many of us—whether you or a loved one has faced breast cancer, we invite you to run, walk, or cheer in support of this meaningful cause. Our community fundraising goal this year is $2,500, and 100% of donations will go directly to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. 🏃♀️ 5K Run/Walk Details: Timed race with overall awards presented post-race Open roads: Volunteers and signage will guide the route Strollers and walkers are welcome! 🎉 Fun Run (Ages 12 & Under): Starts at 8:15 AM (15 minutes before the 5K) A half-mile loop starting and finishing at the official start line Participants receive a finisher medal and T-shirt (register by October 10 to guarantee a shirt) Parents may run alongside younger kids 🍕 Post-Race: Stick around after your run/walk for complimentary pizza provided by Hungry Howie’s, plus community vibes and high-fives all around! 🚗 Parking: A parking map will be available below.
