The Mighty Gobbler is a Thanksgiving tradition! A 5k race and 1 mile fun run/walk through a quiet Troy neighborhood. Hosted by Lutheran Church of the Master , this is the only USATF certified 5K course in Michigan on Thanksgiving Day, and a great way to start your holiday before the big feast! TSHIRTS and AWESOME AWARDS for all participants!! Time: Thanksgiving morning, November 27, starting at 8:30 am for the 1 Mile fun run/walk and 9:00 am for the 5K. Location: The race will begin in the parking lot in front of 3290 W. Big Beaver Road in Troy . The course winds through neighborhoods and commercial areas and is a mixture of roads and sidewalks. Events: There will be two events: a 5K Run and a 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk. Registration: Register online until Tuesday, November 25 at midnight. Register in person at packet pickup on Wednesday and Thursday. If at all possible, plan to register before Thursday to avoid long lines! Packet Pickup: Wednesday, November 26, 4:00-7:00 pm at Luthera
