Chi-Care is a non-for-profit organization that takes a unique approach to helping the unhoused, distributing over 1500 meals each week to those facing food insecurities. Our routes include encampments throughout Chicagoland, train stations, and partnerships with shelters and various organizations. Chi-Care offers a mobile service for the unhoused aimed at providing warm meals to those who face homelessness and/or food insecurity. Our mobile routes operate in key areas where homeless populations are known to gather, such as parks, shelters, and underpasses, bringing necessities directly to those who may have limited access to resources. In addition to warm meals, Chi-Care provides water, hygiene kits, snacks, socks, underwear, jackets, blankets, propane and heaters. Chi-Care participates in weekly Wellness Fairs across the Chicagoland Area.
