Welcome to the 13th annual Sage Lake Firecracker 5K! Welcome to Sage Lake's largest and most popular community event! Join us at the intersection of Kenyon and Maple Roads at 8 a.m. on Saturday, July 4. Also please wear your best red, white and blue to help make this annual event colorful and extra fun. The morning will kick off with the kids' half-mile Sparkler Sprint for ages 10 and younger, starting promptly at 8:30 a.m. The Firecracker 5K fun run will begin promptly at 9 a.m. The race route is a loop. It will take participants up Kenyon Drive and onto Sage Lake Road before turning into the Sunset/Hawthorne neighborhood loop along the lake, then back onto Sage Lake Road, Kenyon Drive, then return to the start. Water stations are available along the route. The Sparkler Sprint is for ages 10 and younger and has its own registration option. Participants will receive a youth shirt, race bib, and a medal.
