Held in Sherwood, Ohio on June 13, 2026, the race day kicks off at 8:10 AM at 14060 Blosser Road. Participants can choose from multiple distances: an 800-meter option, a 0.6-mile run, a 1-mile event as part of Alex's One Mile/Half Mile Fun Run, and a 1.2-mile option also featured in the Jason Kline Memorial Color Runs. This event accommodates runners of varying abilities and ages, making it accessible for those seeking shorter distances alongside the traditional 5K distance.

Ladies Auxiliary of F.O.E. Apache Run 5K-9:05AM Distance: 5K (3.1 miles) Course: Flat, fast, out and back course starting at Fairview Elementary. Age Groups: (men and women) 12 and under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69, and 70 and over. Plaques to top 3 overall and plaques to top 2 in each age group. Plaques will be personalized with names and times. Fee: $15.00 with T-shirt and $10.00 without shirt. Sponsored by: Ladies Auxiliary-Fraternal Order of Eagles-372, Defiance, OH Jason Kline .75/1.5 Mile Memorial Color Run/Walk-8:30AM It will be run on the grassy lot by the elementary school. It will be a color run. They are non-competitive. The .60 will be 2 laps and the 1.2 will be 4 laps. Age groups: 12 and under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50 and over. Plaques to top male and female and medals to top in each age group. Fee: $8.00 without shirt, $12.00 with shirt. Questions: E-mail curt.foust@centrallocal.org. Alex’s One Mile Fun Run (In Memory of Alex Ellert)-8:10AM One mile at Elementary School. All ages encouraged.
