The 3rd event in the popular Seashore Strider Championship Series, this year's Bill Degnan 5k will be held on the Cape Henlopen High School Campus. The Bill Degnan 5k is a flat & fast course through the campus on a mix of track, road and grass named in honor of the late Bill Degnan, coach, teacher & friend at Cape Henlopen. BILL DEGNAN STORY BY FREDMAN RACE LOCATION Cape Henlopen High School, 1170 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE RACE TIME: 5k Race Time is 7:30 am with the Kid's 6/7 Races as soon after the final 5k finisher at approximately. 8:45am-9:00am (Kid's that are participating in the 6/7 races should arrive by 8:30 am...Please be careful arriving and walking to the track as the 5k race will still be in session.) KID's 6/7 Races ...The "6-7" (six-seven) craze is a viral TikTok trend originating from a video edit by NBA player LaMelo Ball, referencing his height (6'7") set to a rap song by Skrilla.
