4th Annual Hi-Neighbor 5K Run/Walk Presented by Zappos! Come out and join us for an evening of running, community, and fun at the 4th Annual Hi-Neighbor Free 5k. Date: July 22, 2026 Time: 6:00 PM Location: Blackstone Boulevard, Providence, RI Join us for the 4th Annual Hi-Neighbor 5K, a FREE community event as part of the City of Providence's Fitness in the Parks program, celebrating fitness, fun, and neighborhood spirit! Set against the picturesque backdrop of Blackstone Boulevard in Providence, this family-friendly run and walk is perfect for participants of all ages and fitness levels. Event Highlights: Free Participation: This 5K run is completely free to enter! Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking for a fun activity to enjoy with friends and family, everyone is welcome! Free T Shirts : Thanks to our incredible sponsor, Zappos, all runners will receive a free race shirt. Beautiful Route: Experience the scenic beauty of Blackstone Boulevard Walking Path, a beautiful tree-lined path that's one of Providence's most beloved running spots. Community Connection: Meet your neighbors and make new friends in a lively, supportive atmosphere. This event is all about bringing runners and walkers together and fostering a sense of community. Schedule: Tuesday, July 21: 5:00 - 7:00 PM: Early Bib Pick Up at Run Newport, 493 Angell St, Providence, RI 02906 Wednesday, July 22: 4:30 - 5:45 PM: Registration and Check-in Opens 5:50 PM: Pre-race Announcements 6:00 PM: Race Start 7:15 - 7:30 PM: Post-race Celebration and Awards Registration: Pre-register online to secure your spot and save time on race day. On-site registration will also be available starting at 4:30 PM. Volunteers Needed: We are looking for volunteers to help with various tasks on race day.
