On June 6, 2026, Fort Wayne, Indiana hosts the 45th Annual FWRC J.P. Jones Just Plain 10K Run/Walk at Foster Park Pavilion #1. The event offers two distances: a full 10K and a shorter 3.3K option, both available as run or walk events, making it accessible for various fitness levels. A family friendly Fort Wayne Running Club Points Race and Breakfast Picnic is returning for you! Everyone is welcome. Come join us Saturday morning June 6th for a morning run/walk commemorating FWRC member J.P. Jones at Foster Park. Run/walk in memory of J.P. and other fabulous runners/walkers who were in your life. All finishers will get Sweet Life Honey Farm honey !! Online registration is closed. Day of registration and pre-registered packet pick up/check in will be at Foster Park Pavilion #1 7:00 am - 8:00 am. The 10km and 3.3 km begin at 8 am. Bring a gift so we can give gifts to others!! Yes, please bring a gift wrapped t-shirt (s) which will be donated to individuals at local organizations like Wellspring Interfaith Social Services and Adult Life Day Academy. Mark t-shirt size on each one. Bring as many wrapped t-shirts (new or very close to new) as you would like. It's a great way to let go of new t-shirts you really don't want. All finishers will receive Sweet Life Honey Farm honey from JP's family and a breakfast picnic supported by Chad Ware. Breakfast will include food choices like fruit, assorted baked goods, cereal, trail mix, granola, milk, yogurt, and nuts. This is a FWRC 2026 Points Race. The course will be on the paved walk/run path at Foster Park and out and back on the paved path south of the park. $8 for Club Members and $12 for Non-club members thru Friday May 22, 2026. Member discount is applied automatically if you have a configured runsignup.com member account. $15 for all registrants after Friday 5/22/26. Checks payable to Fort Wayne Running Club
