Ted Miller passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 20, 2022. A passionate runner from Racine, WI, Ted excelled in the sport and was an active member of the Racine Area Running Club (RARC), serving as its Vice President and tirelessly promoting the advantages of running within the Southeast Wisconsin community. He earned his bachelor's degree from UW-Parkside in Kenosha, where he participated in track and cross country. Ted's love for running began at a young age, leading him to become a three-time Collegiate All-American in Track and Field. He proudly won the Racine Lighthouse Run 10 Mile Race twice and was inducted into the Racine Lighthouse Run Hall of Fame at the age of 46. Ted also worked at Merritt’s Running Center, which paved the way for a career in the shoe industry, ultimately spending the last 20 years at the Weyco Group.
