After completing his 48th XC season at Bloomington North and beginning his 48th track season, coach Charlie Warthan will be retiring from coaching. Coach Warthan started as head boys xc coach in the fall of 1978. Since that time, he has amassed some amazing stats. 26 XC Sectional titles 20 XC Regional titles 14 XC Semi-State titles (discontinued in 2023) 2 XC State titles (1980 & 2024) 23 Track Sectional titles 18 Track Regional titles *X number of individual and relay state champions in track... Fittingly, we are having a 5k and banquet at the conclusion of his track season to celebrate this man's amazing career. We are calling for all former runners, coaches, parents, and administrators that have been a part of this journey to join us on June 7th to show our appreciation to coach. Note: This is a surprise for coach so please keep this quiet as we pull this all together. Registration cost pays for your shirt and commemorative finisher medal. Donations will go toward getting the new xc
