The Takshanuk Ridge Run is a premier summer trail race in Haines, Alaska. This demanding 11.5 mile trail run climbs through temperate rainforest, along an iconic alpine ridgeline, and ultimately finishes in the center of Haines. Come join us for the 8th annual run between the sea and sky in the adventure capital of Southeast Alaska! Where: 7 mile Saddle Trailhead Parking Lot. When: If you would like a ride out to the race start, there will be a shuttle to transport all the racers to the start at 7:30 AM. The shuttle will leave from Alaska Backcountry Outfitters (across the road from the SEARHC Clinic). The race will start from the 7 mile Saddle Trailhead at 8:00 AM.
