Don't forget to lace up your running shoes with the JINGLE BELLS that we're giving everyone! Get ready for a unique, family friendly event that’ll get everyone into the holiday spirit! Once again this year’s Doylestown Jingle Bell Turkey Trot beneficiary will be Bucks County Opportunity Council! ~Important note~ 💥THIS EVENT SOLD OUT IN 2024!💥 Please register early before this race sells out! RACE DAY (11/30) DETAILS: (Race Day Packet Pick-Up 8:30-9:30) Again, if you are not able to make it to packet pick-up on Saturday, you are welcome to pick your packets up on race day. RACE DAY PARKING, REGISTRATION, START & FINISH: Delaware Valley University 700 East Butler Avenue Doylestown, PA, 18901 GPS: HERE! 🦃 Here are just a few reasons why the Doylestown Jingle Bell Turkey Trot is the turkey trot to do: ~Top of the line tech HOODIE! (Must register before the deadline) ~3” Doylestown Jingle Bell Turkey Trot finisher’s medal! ~All runners & walkers will get jingle bells to attach to your running shoe laces. ~Indoor registration, packet pick-up, costume contest, awards! (if it’s too cold outside) ~Indoor bathrooms (and plenty of them) ~Parking right near the start/finish ~DJ Dave (enough said) ~ Hot chocolate (with whipped cream:-) ~BEER (enough said) (21+ only) 🦃 RUN IN A HOLIDAY COSTUME!! ~AWARDS for various costume categories... (but you are not obligated to dress up) Packet Pick-Up will be announced the week of 11/23: ~Packet Pick-up is NOT mandatory although it is strongly encouraged as to avoid long lines on race morning. ~You can pick-up packets for your friends...just know their full name. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Race Day is Sunday, November 30th! Suggested arrival time: 8:30-9:30 am (registration closes promptly at 9:45) Race Day Timeline: Pre-Race Announcements: 9:45. National Anthem: 9:55 Li'l Elves Kids' Run starts @ 10:00 10k starts @ 10:10 5k starts @ 10:20 2 Mile FUN Run/Walk starts @ 10:25 The After Party: Let the party begin after you cross the finish line and collect your much deserved finisher's medal! Plan on sticking around for some good music from DJ Dave, costume contest, hot chocolate, food, beer (21+ only), a ROCKIN' awards ceremony. 🏃‍♂️😊🏃‍♀️ AWARDS: Awards given for 10K & 5k only, Kids Run & FUN RUN are for FUN! Overall winner (male and female), plus top three males and females in each age category: NEW: 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, (new age group: 80-89). No mailing of awards or shirts. Again, no mailing of awards or pullovers. You MUST pick up your award before you leave. If you do not, we cannot hold/store awards and it will likely be given to a race day entry or someone else. It is simply too much to hold/store & inventory the awards. Note: If you are registered for this race and you registered in time to choose a pullover BUT you are unable to run for whatever reason, you will NEED TO CONTACT us 24 hours BEFORE RACE DAY (we CANNOT make any changes with your registration within 24hrs of the race...we are simply too busy setting up at that time) and let us know if you'd like us to hold on to your reserved pullover for you to pick up at a future Scoogie Event. If you do not do this, we cannot hold your shirt and it will be given to someone that registered after the deadline. We cannot mail your pullover! IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING WEATHER: This event is a rain/shine event. This means that if it rains (and as long as the temperature isn’t low enough to freeze any surfaces), this event IS A GO…even in the rain….”skin is waterproof😀” In the event that we experience bad weather such as snow or ice or any weather that would cause the course to be unsafe, we will cancel the event. There will be no refunds due to the fact that at this point all of the expenses for a race of this magnitude have been paid for. (medal & pullover) will be able to be picked-up a yet to be determined SWAG pick up. NOTE: We do not issue any refunds, transfers or credits for any reason. We have the right to revise or cancel the race due to emergency or weather issue....(but we really hope this doesn't happen:-) Thank you for your understanding.
