A RACE to REMEMBER 5K Presented by 'A Night to Remember Foundation' Benefiting...Dementia Care Needs, Regional Caring Closet, Local Grant Program, and the Alzheimer’s Association. Saturday, June 27, 2026 Rome, GA 8:00am 5K start 8:15am 1Mi. Health Walk 9:15am Awards Ceremony We hope to have you join us for a Race to Remember, a race to help those in our community affected by Alzheimer's Disease. All participants will receive a t-shirt and a memorable 5K run/walk along some of Rome's most scenic pathways and bridges. RUN IT! WALK IT! ENJOY IT! Make plans to join us! THEME & TEAMS!! It is still ACCURATE and FAST!! The new course we are using this year travels along the beautiful Oostanaula River, as an out-and-back route utilizing the new trail near the Post Office. As in years past, it still starts and finishes at the Courtyard by Marriott Rome Riverwalk. The 5K race promises to be FLAT, FAST, and FUN!! PROFESSIONAL TIMING In addition to a certified course--which is a Peachtree RR Qualifier--the race will be professionally-timed by Wire2Wire Running, LLC , using MyLaps' R.F.I.D. technology...the same technology used to time the Boston Marathon, London Marathon, and Tour de France. T-SHIRT Ah yes, the coveted prize of every participant...The T-SHIRT! Designed by professional graphic designer Lamante S.
