Adventure Awaits 5k – Sayre, PA 2026

Lace up your running shoes to run or walk with Scouting America’s Great Falls Council! The Adventure Awaits 5k is open to all ages, and beginners are welcome. As you walk or run, you will be able to take in the scenery and atmosphere at Riverfront Park. This is a great way for Scouts, avid runners, and families to get outdoors and support Scouting in their community. The race will be held at the Riverfront Park in Sayre Borough, Pennsylvania with a mix of trail and road experience. Restrooms are available, and there will be at least one water stop along the race from local Scouts. Pre-race packet pick up will be held on Friday, August 28th from 5:30 to 7:00 pm (Location TBD). Day-of packet pick up will take place from 7:00 am to 7:45 am. The 5k run/walk begins at 8:30 am. Early registration through RunSignup is encouraged for a reduced fee of $25.
