1st Annual GOBBLE WOBBLE 5K / 10 & Under Fun Run!! SUPPORTING: American Heritage Girls Troop LA-0401 Saturday, November 21st, 2026 8:00 a.m. – 3131 Arthur Teague PKWY Boat Launch at the foot of Shreveport Barksdale Bridge. American Heritage Girls is a faith-based character development and leadership organization for girls ages 5 to 17. The program helps girls grow in faith, service, citizenship, life skills, confidence, and outdoor adventure through troop meetings, badge work, community service, and leadership opportunities. It is often seen as a Christ-centered alternative to traditional scouting programs, with a strong emphasis on family involvement, biblical values, and helping girls become women of integrity. The 5k is our primary fundraiser and supplies our troop with the necessary funds for community service projects, equipment, materials, and events to further contribute to the Godly service of our local troop.
