Samantha Mecke, a Gold Star mother and 18 year active duty service member in the United States Army, is honored to announce the 3rd Annual Memorial Run in tribute to her son, Airman Christian Bellmore, who tragically passed away while serving on active duty. This event aims to raise awareness about healthcare in the military and support first-term service members. The primary objective of this Memorial Run is to provide meaningful support and mentorship to new service members as they embark on their journey in the armed forces. In recognition of the invaluable support received, half of the proceeds from the event will be donated to the Merritt Island Veterans Memorial Center. This organization has profoundly honored Christian’s memory and supported Samantha and her family during their most challenging time.
