IMPORTANT UPDATE!! Alive and Running VA 5K has a LIVE AND VIRTUAL for 2026 We are glad to announce that we are having a LIVE and VIRTUAL race for 2026. Participants have the option to run the LIVE event on the VA location or stay at home and run/walk your event with VIRTUAL options. Virtual Event With a virtual race you can run the 5K distance anywhere, in your neighborhood, on a treadmill, at a nearby park. You will have between Saturday, September 12th and Sunday, October 3rd to complete your 5K. Once you have the 5K completed you will enter your time in the Run Sign-up website. If you participate in the virtual event you will still receive a race t-shirt! We will plan for drive through packet pickup on Friday September 11 between 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm and Saturday September 12 from 7:00 am-9:00 am at the entrance to the VA, as we have done in years past.
