The Appleseeds Track Camp is an introduction into the world of Track & Field for kids of all ages. The camp is open to kids from ages 5 to 18. Our camp sessions will be a mix of education, running, and technical events. Campers will experience jumps, hurdles, relays, distance, and sprints. Kids will be in groups with others their age and will go to 5 stations per practice with their groups. The stations are led by experienced athletes and coaches. Stations: Sprints and technique Distance - running workout High Jump Long Jump Hurdles Schedule: Monday, December 28th: 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm Tuesday, December 29th: 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm Wednesday, December 30th: 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm We will be competing in the Indiana Runner Indoor Track Meet on January 9th at Taylor University. Each camper will receive a free entry for one event in the meet. Benefits: 3 x 2 hr practices Guidance from experienced Track & Field coaches and athletes Camp T-shirt Entry for one event at Indiana Runner Meet
