About the Run and AEF The AEF 5K Run celebrates Arlington’s students, teachers, and staff who work tirelessly to create enriching and innovative educational experiences. All ages are welcome to participate. The proceeds from the run will be used to support innovative and creative new projects, as well as system-wide initiatives, that enhance the educational experience in Arlington’s Public Schools. AEF depends entirely on individual donations and business sponsorships. The race plays a significant role in our community awareness and fundraising initiatives.
