Balmorhea Family 1 Mile & 5K Race – Balmorhea, TX 2026

Join us for the Balmorhea Family 1 Mile & 5K Race! Kick off your morning with a fun, energetic, and meaningful event for the whole family. Whether you want to compete or simply enjoy a walk together, this race is for you! Start & Finish: In front of Balmorhea City Park Start Time: 7:00 AM - 5k (3 miles 3.1) & 8:00 AM - 1 Mile Entry Fee: $10 Same-day registration available (not guaranteed) — please arrive at least 30 minutes early (6:30 am) This is a family-friendly event open to all ages (3+). Participants can run, walk, or stroll at their own pace. Strollers are welcome (no pets, please). ‍♂️ Timed race with age group awards for those who want to compete. Water stations available. Fun, welcoming, community atmosphere. All proceeds will go toward supporting a school in Chad, Africa, helping build new classrooms and create better opportunities for children. Donations are also welcome! Come make memories, stay active, and be part of something bigger!
