The Beast of the Brazos, an open-water swim event in Waco, TX, is 2.4 miles and 1.2 mile distances mirroring a full IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 Waco courses. Newly added this year is a 750 meter swim sprint! All participants registered before August 8th will receive a swim cap, dri-fit shirt, and finisher’s medal. Stay tuned for special anniversary celebrations and updates. Follow us on social @wacosports Wetsuit classification is only relevant for determining the top 3 tiered age group for male and female awards. If you register for wetsuit, but decide to change into non wetsuit the morning of, there's no consequences, but please let us know ! You just won't be able to qualify for a top 3 tiered age group awards. *If water temperature is above 90 degrees then the course will be abbreviated for safety reasons.
