We respect all gender identities, and participants are welcome to register in the category that aligns with their identity. Trans and non-binary runners will not be questioned or challenged on their gender identity. Results & Timing Non-binary athletes will appear in the overall standings and, if applicable, in their selected gender category. Results will reflect the participant’s chosen gender identity, and this information will not be changed without consent. Awards Non-binary runners will be eligible for place awards in their own category, or they may choose to compete in the category in which they most closely identify. Deferral & Transfer Options Pregnancy or Postpartum Deferral: Registered runners who are pregnant or within 12 months postpartum may defer their entry to the following year or another future edition of the race. Extended Deferral Window: Deferrals may be used anytime within 2 years of the original race date.
