The Race will begin at the Tunkhannock Little League fields on Sunnyside Road and continues through the Iroquois Trail Race Day Schedule: Saturday November 7, 2026 8:00 am - 9:45 am Packet Pickup, Onsite registration, DJ and basket raffle 9:45am - Brief ceremony & raising of the flag while National Anthem is sung 9:50 am - 9:55 am Race Instructions and Runners to starting line 10:00 am Race Start 11:00 am - 12:00 pm DJ, Raffle Drawing, and awards Blue Star Mothers of NEPA is a chapter of The Blue Star Mothers of America, Inc. which is a non-partisan, non-political, non-sectarian organization. We do not support any political candidate nor do we endorse any religious organization. The military represents all aspects of America as does our organization. We are a 501(c)3 Organization Organizational Overview We are mothers, stepmothers, grandmothers, foster mothers and female legal guardians who have children serving in the military, guard or reserves, or children who are veterans. We support each other and our children while promoting patriotism. Our organization focuses on our mission every single day and will never, ever, forsake our troops, our veterans or the families of our Fallen Heroes. We have over 6,000 members from over 200 Chapters throughout the nation. Our members are extremely active and have accomplished the following in the fiscal year ending August 31, 2012: Received $3,031,664.68 in cash donations $591,809.86 in in-kind donations Spent over $2,600,582.25 (including more than $1 million in postage) For 74,123 care packages sent to members of the Armed Forces, giving more than 250,000 military personnel a little bit of love from home 137,654 letters sent to members of the Armed Forces 9,439 veterans events throughout the year 287 events honoring Gold Star Mothers 2,800 cards honoring Gold Star families
