The Bottomless Triathlon takes place at Bottomless Lakes State Park in Roswell, New Mexico on June 27, 2026, with races starting at 8:00 AM, giving you time to arrive the evening before and handle logistics that morning. Entry fees range from $40 to $120 depending on the event category. The park offers a lakeside venue for the swimming portion of the race. If you're flying in, plan to rent a car since Bottomless Lakes is located outside the city proper and you'll want flexibility for pre-race preparation and potential course reconnaissance.

BIRTHPLACE OF THE TRIATHLON JUNIOR OLYMPCS (1990's) QUALIFYING EVENT FOR THE INNAGURAL ITU YOUTH (Junior B) WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS Established in 1984 at Bottomless Lakes State Park (BLSP) - New Mexico’s first State Park. Soloists and Relays will enjoy the 1/4 mile SWIM in the clear spring-fed lake, the 8 mile BIKE course, and a fast and flat 4k RUN . This family friendly super sprint triathlon is great for first timers and loved by old timers. FREE to first 5 athletes under the age of 18 in the solo division, and special pricing after that. Earn Cash Back if you refer 5 others to sign up. Conditional Refunds available if Race fills up and people on the Wait List agree to take a spot.
