A freak accident while playing with my daughter left me with a burst fracture at my C6 vertebra… and a diagnosis of quadriplegia. In a moment, life as I knew it was gone. What followed was months of relentless rehabilitation—physical, mental, and spiritual. Long days. Small wins. Setbacks. Faith. And a decision, over and over again, to keep going. Step by step… I learned to walk again. This race started as something personal. A way to run again. A way to reclaim what was lost. But it became something bigger. The first year… we didn’t know what to expect.
