Candles & Calacas Día de los Muertos 5K Fun Run/Walk 2026 — East Lansing, MI

Join us for IEV's annual Fun Race. This year, the theme is Día de Los Muertos - a joyful tradition of remembering and honoring the people we love . 📅 Sunday, November 1, 2026 📍 Michigan State University Hubbard/Akers Courtyard. This friendly fun run/walk is a collaboration between the International Engagement Volunteers (IEV) and the International Engagement in Mexico (IEM) education abroad program. Proceeds from the event will support service-learning projects carried out by Michigan State University students through IEV. Registration: Register by October 16, 2026, to guarantee your event T-shirt on race day. 🏅 The first 100 finishers will receive a race medal. Can't join us in person? You can still participate in our virtual race! We'll provide your T-shirt and medal. Just make sure to register under the virtual 5K race. Make It Festive!
