Join us in Buena Vista, Colorado for the Celebration of Moms & Family Fun Run 5k hosted by the Buena Vista School District. Run, walk, and celebrate being a mom or the mother's in your life. This co-ed event welcomes everyone — moms, dads, kids, families, and community members — to come together in celebration and support of the important role mothers play in our community. Saturday, May 9th, 2026 Free Kids Fun Run 10:00 am (Avery Parsons Field) 5k Runners & Walkers 10:30 am This 5K takes place on a mix of dirt and paved town trails and is stroller-friendly. Run, jog, walk, or stroller roll — all are welcome! The event is open to anyone who wants to celebrate moms and the incredible role they play in our community. The Kids Fun Run is free! Kids can decorate their own race bibs before the race inside the McGinnis Gym. The run will take place on the Avery Parsons Elementary field and will be approximately ½ mile.
