CFA 5K Run & Walk for Mental Health 2026 — Groton, CT

Join Child & Family Agency (CFA) for our 5K Run & Walk for Mental Health in Groton on Saturday, October 31 ! Dress in your favorite costume , bring your family and friends, and choose between a timed 5K run, an untimed 1.5-mile walk, or a children's fun run (6 and under). Strollers and dogs on leash are welcome! After the race, stick around for costume contests for adults, children, and pets , plus food trucks, vendors, and family-friendly activities . Every registration helps support Child & Family Agency’s mental health programs for children and families throughout southeastern Connecticut. CFA provides mental health, medical, and other essential services to more than 10,000 children and families each year . Funds raised through the CFA 5K will support children’s mental health programs and School-Based Health Centers , which bring medical and behavioral healthcare directly to children and families. In a recent year, 3,700 students made approximately 22,000 visits to CFA School-Based Health Centers, including more than 11,000 behavioral health visits . The CFA 5K is for everyone. Families can walk together, kids can run their own race, and the whole community can enjoy a fun Halloween morning while supporting local children.
