Chasing Rainbows 5k 2026 — Kill Devil Hills, NC

Chasing Rainbows 5k is a social community run, walk, or stroll. Join us October 18, 2026 for our 4th annual charity race that brings awareness to Pregnancy, Infant, and Child Loss Awareness Month, and directly supports those who have experienced the unimaginable loss of a loved one. This event is a celebration of resilience, compassion, solidarity, and to remember all those who left us far too soon. Beyond extending a comforting hand to those who grieve, we are proud to announce that all the funds raised will support the Chasing Rainbows Foundation. All proceeds raised will go directly towards free grief counseling for OBX families, grief support toolkits for those recently experiencing loss, and creating an online and in-person safe space for families to connect and share their stories. The Chasing Rainbows Foundation offers support to mothers and families affected by pregnancy and infant loss by providing education, teaching self-advocacy skills, helping families cope with loss and giving hope for subsequent pregnancies. Chasing Rainbows was created in memory of my son, B.B. Collins, who passed in 2019 with a mission to ensure that no one faces their grieving journey alone. Join us to honor the memory of B.B. and all those we’ve lost. Together, we can bring awareness, hope, and healing.
