This is a very fast course; mostly flat and with a .75 mile downhill finish! One of the fastest 5K/10K races in Georgia and a great Peachtree Road Race seeded qualifier! You should have a negative split from first half to last half of your distance. TRANSFERS If you’d like to transfer from one distance to another (10K to 5K or vice versa) you can do so when online (sign-in to RunSignUp and change your order info) or when you pick up your race # in person; we'll have a transfer sheet when you pick up shirt) You'll have to pay the event price difference to switch from 5K to 10K but free to switch from 10K to 5K. You must do so before the race and can be disqualified if you do not. There will be a 10K split mat at the 3.1 mile point that runners must cross over. RAFFLE PRIZE ! The Chattahoochee Road Runners' Club is a social club, which provides a forum for runners in and around the Atlanta area to meet to run, socializes, and discuss running and the running lifestyle.
