ChristianaCare Nurses Week 5K
Please join us for the Nurses Week 5K! The profession of nursing is often one that is self-less, however, research tells us that when we take care of ourselves, we are better able to care for others. The idea for the 5K came about from the desire to promote wellness, comradery and joy amongst the Caregivers of ChristianaCare. In the spirit of Relationship Based Care, to make a commitment to our patients, our colleagues and ourselves. Our hope is to inspire healthy lifestyles, work life balance and teamwork at a fun and exciting event for ChristianaCare caregivers and their families and friends. Whether you choose to run or walk, we are hopeful to make this year's Nurses Week 5K one of our best yet. This year's event is free, however we encourage donations. All donations this year will be going to Nurses House - a nurse-managed, nonprofit organization helping nurses in need across the United States.
