Chunky Monkey Epilepsy Run In memory of our "Chunky Monkey" Mathias Lee Koch Saturday, November 7th, 2026 Theme: Purple Website: www.chunkymonkeyrun.com The Chunky Monkey Epilepsy Run features a Half Marathon, 5K (In-Person & Virtual), a 1 Mile Walk (not timed), and a kids' run. Registration is open online until Nov. 7th at midnight. Register before Oct. 24th to guarantee a shirt. We will stop collecting shirt sizes after the 24th. Blanket Drive Our mission is to provide comfort to families at the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit of the American Family Children's Hospital every year. This year, our goal is to bring comfort to 200 families, and we appreciate the compassion you have shown in support of this cause. If you would like to bring a blanket, the sizes are on the event page of the Chunky Monkey Website. Event Information No Race Day Registration Events Half Marathon Start Times: 9:00 AM This will be the 5th year for the Half Marathon event! If you love hills, this half-marathon is for you! Enjoy a hilly, scenic, challenging (did we say, hilly), and beautiful 13.1 mile course. Be ready for HILLS--seriously! The time limit for the Half Marathon will be 3 1/2 Hours. Approximately 16-minute miles There will be water/Gatorade stations @ miles 2, 4.5, 7, 10 &11. Portable Restroom: 3.5 & 6.5/7.5,10 Kid's Run Start Time: 9:30 AM Diaper Dash Children 0- 2 year old: Race will take place on the 9th Fairway. Distance is approximately 25 feet. 100 Meter Dash 3-4 year age group: The race will take place on the 9th Fairway following the 25 M Dash. 5-7 year age group: The race will take place on the 9th Fairway following the 3-4 year olds. 400 Meter Dash 8-10 year age group: The race will take place on the 9th Fairway following the 100 M Dash. 5K Run/Walk Start Time: 10:00 a.m. Follow the ranger around this delightful 3.1 mile course. There will be no water stations on the course this year. Please bring your own water . There will be a water/Gatorade table at the finish line. 5K Virtual Run/Walk Start Time: Anytime during the week of October 31-November 8, 2025 This is a new event for those not able to attend the actual race, but still lend your support. You can find your own 5K course and time yourself. Afterward, you submit your time on the race results website to share with others. Times will be processed into standings with other virtual run participants. No awards will be sent. Awards Start Time: 11:00 AM The awards ceremony is back! We will meet outside the clubhouse, bottom level at 11:00 AM 5K Awards to Top Finishers Men/Women Ages: 11-17, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+ Half-marathon medals will be given at the finish line to all participants!
