City of Westlake Community Run – Westlake, OH 2026

THIRD ANNUAL WESTLAKE COMMUNITY RUN The City of Westlake Community Run is a special event for the whole family, being hosted by the Recreation Department and held in conjunction with the Annual Safety & Wellness Day. Come out and enjoy a run or walk through the beautiful City of Westlake and then stay for the Fair! Race begins and ends on the Recreation Center Campus. There will be a timed 5K Run and Speed Walking Division along with an untimed 1-Mile Walk beginning at 8:30 am. We are also hosting a Kids Dash, which is free for those 8 years old and under. This dash will kick off at 8:15 am before the main race. Event goodie bags guaranteed for the first 200 registered for the main run/walk. All Kids Dash participants will receive a race medal. There will be post-race refreshments, fruit, raffle prizes, and awards pick-up at the DJ booth. Again this year, we are hosting a pancake breakfast from 9 am to 11 am following the race.
