Closter's Dom Mircovich Memorial 5K - 45th Annual & Jim O'Halloran Kids Fun Run Now in its 45th year, the 5k and Fun Run events will be held on its traditional Sunday of Labor Day weekend. Both events will be held on Sunday, September 6, 2026. The Closter 5k is the longest running, continuous 5k in the Northern Valley. We've got the prettiest course around! Please note that this year's town celebration ("NOT" Labor Day celebration) is scheduled for 6 September. See the Closter Recreation Commission site for more info. This year's town celebration will not coincide with the 5K and Fun Run. LOCATION - Memorial Park, Harrington Ave., Closter, NJ SCHEDULE - September 6, 2026 8:00 am - Bib Pickup by basketball courts for those registered on line (Note: There will be limited same day registration, but online registration is preferred.) 9:00 am - Jim O’Halloran Kids Fun Run (12 & Under) 9:30 am - Dom Mircovich Memorial 5K Walk/Run Race Start 10:30 am - Awards COURSE USATF Certified 5k Course:
