Crazy 8 Brazos VFD 5K – Brazos, TX 2026

The Brazos VFD is a dedicated group of volunteers committed to protecting the lives, property and safety of the Brazos community. We are proud to share that our new fire station is now built and operational, with our fire trucks officially housed in the new facility. While the structure is complete, we are continuing to finish out essential areas including the bathrooms, offices and kitchen. Funds raised through events like the Crazy 8 Brazos VFD 5K, directly support these final improvements, as well as vital equipment and training, ensuring we can continue to serve our community with excellence for years to come. We would love to host the race around our new fire station, (201 E Rusk St), though final plans have not yet been made. The Crazy 8 Brazos VFD 5K is traditionally held on the last Saturday in Aril, and we look forward to sharing confirmed race details as plans are finalized.
