Trail 5K, Trail 10K, Family Fun Run
This is the major fundraiser for the Crozet Trails Crew, a grassroots community organization whose mission is to simply connect Crozet and Western Albemarle with trails and greenways. The Course starts in Crozet Park (on festival grounds by pavilions this year) and continues on the Crozet trail to the east of the Park (rustic trail, so plenty of roots, rocks, and ruts), and finishes back at Crozet Park. All runners get a race T-shirt. Course map is posted on crozettrailscrew.org There will be prizes for overall male and female: first, second and third (first place male and female get a bridge named in their honor!) ***From scratch Pancake breakfast included this year with Great Valu and Yellow Mug Coffee sponsors! There is a shorter option that still gets you out on the trails, the Family Fun Run . The course will start in Crozet Park and go by the dog park.
