This weekend is intended for women that are interested in mountain biking but don't know where to start or for those that have started but feel they are missing something in knowledge/skill/technique that makes the ride enjoyable. Certified and experienced coaches are excited to guide you through your learning experience and allow you to make some riding friends along the way. Required: Mountain bike (with flat pedals preferably) and helmet. All other gear optional, but recommend gloves and eye protection. Also, water bottle or hydration pack. Schedule (subject to change): Friday Location: Nine Mile County Forest Recreation Area, 221700 Red Bud Road, Wausau, WI 54401 5:00pm – 6:00pm – Check-in. Get your bike ready for the weekend ahead. 6:00pm – 6:30pm – Dinner (included with registration) 6:30pm –8:00pm - Meet your coaches.
