Dam Tri – Lexington, SC 2026

SWIM: 1000 Meters (Lake) BIKE: 21 Miles RUN: 6 Kilometers The Dam Tri moves into its 16th season in 2025. Voted the athlete's favorite several years during its existence, this Sprinternational distance event provides a longer distance than your typical sprint tri but doesn't expect quite as much from you as the international distance. The entire triathlon incorporates segments of the Lake Murray Dam. Starting with the 1000 meter lake swim, athletes will be comfortable with or without wetsuits as water temperature will be around 73 degrees. The swim is one large triangle starting alongside the massive spillway of the dam. Once out of the water it is a quick dash to transition and onto the 2 loop mostly flat to rolling bike course. Athletes get to cycle over the dam 4 times and experience the amazing views from atop this monumental structure.
