This event was created in memory of a father who passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. What began as a personal tribute has grown into a community gathering focused on connection, gratitude, and wellness. It’s a chance to slow down, come together, and recognize the importance of the people who’ve shaped our lives. At Lake Hawkins, the course loops around the lake and offers a simple, scenic route suitable for all ages and fitness levels. Whether you’re running the 10K, walking the 5K, or bringing kids out for the 1-mile dash, this event is meant to be welcoming and accessible for everyone.
