Well this is your event! Please plan to join us for the 7th. Annual Running of the Dellinger Dash! Produced in conjunction with the Cartersville Parks & Recreation Department, Wire2Wire Running has made this an annual event at this beautiful park. Register today and find out...just how fast you can make it one time around the Dellinger Park Loop! MEN'S COURSE RECORD : 9:40.2 Cameron Bensley, Powder Springs, GA (2025) WOMEN'S COURSE RECORD : 11:12.4 Kelly Ann Sutterfield, Euharlee, GA (2025) MALE MASTERS COURSE RECORD : 11:33.1 Ryan Shrum, Chickamauga, GA (2021) FEMALE MASTERS COURSE RECORD : 12:55.8 Sherry Spinks, Cartersville, GA (2020) For the little ones not wanting to run the entire park loop, we have the "Lake Lap" which circles Dellinger Park's iconic pond! This adorable race is Super-Cool to watch, so make sure your little ones don't miss out on this summer-time fun!! Both races start-and-finish adjacent to Dellinger Park’s duck pond. Proceeds go to help benefit area school running programs through Wire2Wire Running's Shoes4Kids Program. The Dellinger Dash is exactly one (1) complete loop around the park, including the small hill up to the pool. The full loop is 3K or just shy of 2 miles. For our younger participants (8 & Under), the ‘Lake Lap’ is designed as a fun run of one (1) lap around Dellinger’s duck pond and is 450 meters, or a tad over a quarter-mile. ALL registered participants receive a commemorative T-shirt for this annual event! Packet Pick-Up: Packet Pick-up information will be communicated via email the week prior to the race! So be on the lookout! A W A R D S Dellinger Dash 3K Overall: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards, (Male & Female) Masters: 1st place award (Male & Female) Age Groups: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals (Male & Female) will be awarded for the 3K in the following age group categories: (10&U, 11-14, 15-19, 2-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70&O) ' Lake Lap' for Kids ALL the little ones earn a medal for completing the Lake Lap!
