On July 4th, 2027, Downingtown, Pennsylvania hosts the Good Neighbor Day – Firetrucks and Fireworks event at Kerr Park. Downingtown Good Neighbor Day benefits the Fire and rescue squads within the Downingtown Area School District. Good Neighbor Day is an all-day event that starts with the Run for Life 5K, 10K, 15K or 5K Freedom Walk. Approximately 2,000 athletes participate each year. Throughout the day you can enjoy fabulous food, visit 80-100 craft exhibitors or simply enjoy one of the many activities scheduled for the day. The day is capped off with a Fireworks Grand Finale that starts at dusk. Proceeds benefit the following emergency providers: Alert Fire Company - Minquas Fire and EMS - Uwchlan Ambulance - East Brandywine Fire Company - Lionville Fire Company - Glenmoore Fire Company - West Bradford Fire Company RUN FOR LIFE 5K, 10K, 15K $100 to top male and female runners GND T-shirts for all registered runners. Commemorative 250th Medal for ALL runners! Medals for 1st three male and female finishers in each category Runner's Bibs and GND T-shirt Pick-up at the Gazebo in Kerr Park - July 3rd from 10 AM till 7 PM, July 4th from 6:00 AM till 7:50 AM Race starts at 8:00 AM AGE GROUPS 7 & Under, 8-10, 11-13, 14-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+ 5K FREEDOM WALK GND T-shirts for registered walkers. This is a FUN walk! Families are encouraged and strollers are just fine! Walk starts at 8:00 AM behind the runners. KIDS K FUN RUN Medals awarded to all finishers T-shirts for all entrants Race starts at 10:00 AM Entry Fee is Non-refundable
