The E3 Endurance Junior Tri 7.03 Super Sprint is for the promotion and development of youth and junior triathletes. Ages 5 to 19 are welcome and encouraged to participate. This youth/junior race is based on USA Triathlon’s recommended youth/junior distances per age group. Race Distances : 16-19 yr old + Relay: 300yd Swim, 3 Loops, 8K (5.1miles), 3 Loop Run, 3K (1.8miles) = 7.03 Miles 13-15yr: 300yd Swim, 3 Loops, 8K (5.1miles), 3 Loop Run, 3K (1.8miles) = 7.03 Miles 11-12yr: 200yd Swim, 5K Cycle, 2K Run (7.03 km) 9-10yr: 100yd Swim, 4K Cycle, 1K Run 7-8yr: 50yd Swim, 3K Cycle, 1K Run 5-6yr: 25yd Swim, 2K Cycle, 1K Run Athlete Development: All races will be preceded by 4 weeks of optional triathlon training by E3:Endurance's Youth & Junior Certified Coach, Matthew Clancy. All participants will learn the fundamentals of swimming, cycling, and running for triathlon, while learning transitioning, pacing, and race strategies.
