East Farms Spring Ahead 5k & 1M Fun Run – Farmington, CT 2026

"The East Farms Spring Ahead 5K Fun Run/Walk (or 1-mile Run/Walk!) was started 11 years ago by an East Farms parent looking to help raise funds for the PTO. It has turned into the biggest fundraiser for the school every year! The PTO strives to to enrich the curriculum by organizing and funding various educational, cultural and social activities, and all funds raised go directly towards these efforts. We help fund field trips to lessen the financial burden on families, and we help to support school events like Night of Arts and Culture, YARC Day and various other educational and cultural assemblies. We also help to support families in need in our school community with support through the Wolf Fund. But, the 5K is not only about raising money; it's an event that is focused on promoting health and wellness as well!
