F2BK Splash & Dash – AAC – Glen Burnie, MD 2026

Fit 2 B Kids offers a multisport event for youth ages 7-14* called a Splash & Dash! (*determined by age as of 12/31/2026, not the age on race day.) Young athletes participate in a swim-run-race event and have an opportunity to get a cool race shirt, cross a finish line, and earn a medal! Coaches first introduce young athletes to racing in an atmosphere of fun and learning. Athlete will: Learn how to set up their swim-run transition. How the swim start is set up and how many laps they will do based on age. They will walk through the logistics of the run course. Participate in a team warm up. Be able to ask questions. Put it all together and participate in the final event on the same day! Wear their finish line medal! Enjoy post event food and music! Have fun! Distances: At Fit 2 B Kids, we believe young athletes should develop speed in shorter distances before developing endurance. Why? The window for developing speed is only open at younger ages, but athletes have a lifetime to develop
