Mark your calendar and begin training for the Family Enrichment Center's 14th Annual MUD HAPPENS, ONE BAD MUD RUN PRESENTED BY HENKEL to be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026. Funds from this event support child abuse prevention services in South Central Kentucky. The MUD HAPPENS--ONE BAD MUD RUN is a 3 mile run featuring built obstacles and muddy areas where contestants slip, slide, and slosh their way to the finish. Sign up as an individual or grab a TEAM of 4 or more (and receive a discounted price!). The course is designed for ages 10 and up; children 10-12 years of age MUST be accompanied by a PAID adult participant. The Individual Competitive Heat is at 7:30 a.m. and will be limited to 50 runners (NO TEAMS). Regular heats will start at 7:45 AM and run every 15 minutes until 10 AM. Additional heats will be added if existing spots are full. The Kids Mud Bath is FREE and consists of small obstacles and activities for children 9 and under only.
