The Firecracker 5k and 1-mile Sparkler fun run is a family-friendly 5K walk/run held yearly on the 4th of July at Cascades Park in Tallahassee to assist the Capital City Kiwanis Club and the Virtual Kiwanis Club of the Big Bend. This year's 5k is a Grand Prix. Join us in this exciting event to help us continue to carry out our vital missions! This year's theme is Life, Liberty, & Pursuit of Miles! Time/Schedule: On-Site Registration begins at 6:30 a.m. 1-Mile Fun Run begins at 7:30 a.m. 5K Race begins at 8:00 a.m. Awards Ceremony to follow at 9:00 a.m. (as results are tabulated) Packet Pick-ups: Coming Soon Cost: Registration fees accommodate for families by offering discounted fees for children and committed runners and offering discounts for registration without shirts.
